Peer learning workshop “Climate action in Alpine towns – How to?"

Javna Delavnica

Are you interested in learning how spatial planning can affect climate mitigation and adaptation in your town? Are you still looking for ideas to address this issue, or perhaps already have one, but do not know how to tackle your project?

The Swiss Federal Office for Spatial Development (ARE) invites you to attend a peer learning workshop “Climate action in Alpine towns – How to?” being organised with the support of the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention and ESPON in the scope of the Swiss Presidency of the Alpine Convention.

The workshop will take place online on the 18th of June from 10:00 to 12:00.

The goal of this two-hour workshop is to tackle questions such as how to identify challenges, how to take first steps as well as how to communicate with stakeholders in the context of climate adaptation and mitigation in Alpine towns. The workshop will also highlight positive examples of climate action in towns as well as enable valuable peer-to-peer exchange.

The workshop will be translated in all Alpine languages (German, French, Italian and Slovenian) as well as English. More information about the workshop and the programme is available here. Registration for the workshop is already open and can be done through this form.

We look forward to seeing you on the 18th of June and kindly invite you to share this invitation among interested individuals within your network!
